I am a twenty something who saw clips of the UFC in the late nineties and thought " OHH, this is could be something really big", then had the thought "OHH, Its rather raw and violent". Mind you the only clips that were being shown where I lived in Canada were ones that usually ended with opponent being violently knocked out, or being a bloody mess on the mat and the reporter covering it saying something to the affect that it was a bloody sport and how wrong it was. It was at that point I was a fan
Since then I have tried to keep up with MMA as best I could, which wasn't easy. I wanted to learn about MMA and I wanted to become an educated fan, so that I could educate others. That is where I ran into problems and to a point it is still a problem because you have to go here there and everywhere for information. I have created this site as a way to consolidate much of the information I have gathered  
and I do believe that this site will help educate todays fan all about MMA ...
